Vaclav Havel, former President of Czechoslovakia, was honored with a Freedom Award on behalf of the people of the former Czechoslovakia at the Atlantic Council Freedom's Challenge dinner and awards ceremony, held in Berlin in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton delivered the keynote address. Alexandr Vondra, former Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic, accepted the award on Havel's behalf. (November 8, 2009)
