Learn the heartwarming story of the Quilts of Valor Foundation, and have some fun with rookie quilters, during this all-new special, airing Saturday, March 3 at 3 p.m. and Tuesday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. For almost a decade, the Quilts of Valor Foundation has awarded nearly 60,000 quilts to America's wounded veterans. Marianne Fons helps tell the story of this organization, and hosts a "competition" among celebrity rookie quilters as they learn how to make their own quilts of valor. Watch as Olympic Wrestler and Coach Dan Gable, "Lawrence Welk" star Mary Lou Metzger, and Heather Stephenson, the wife of an Army Guardssman, learn the ropes from professional quilters.
