RM356k Worth Of Drugs Seized At Sabah Post Office

Sabah Customs Department seized more than 10,000 ecstasy pills worth RM356,860, last week. 

Its Director, Datuk Hamzah Sundang said the drugs were discovered when enforcement officers of the Kota Kinabalu Pos Malaysia headquarters, conducted a scan on a piece of luggage on November 28th. 

The parcel, delivered from the Netherlands contained 10,196 ecstasy pills and was to be delivered to Sandakan. 

A 54 year-old man; who went to the post office to pick up the parcel, has been remanded for seven days to assist the investigation.

The case is being investigated under the Dangerous Drugs Act for drug trafficking.
