I must admit I didn't have any faith that Osteen would open his MEGA Church. I was not happy that it took four days for them to open there doors to the hurricane victims. Below are some of my comments from my page on Facebook.

I been sitting here this afternoon thinking about something. You know that big MEGA church, Lakewood Church. Joel Osteen and the staff, why aren't they opening there doors to those people in need. I thought that was something all church's did during difficult times like this. Lakewood Church belongs to the people, so why not open up the church for people who really need the help. It seems logical to me. A friend of mine mentioned this to me this afternoon and it really got me to think bling. If I had a big church like this, opening up my doors would be the first thing I would do to help me community. What do you guys think about this?

Yea I know but Lakewood Church should be opening there church to the people. This has me very upset this evening. Yea Lakewood is close to where my brother works. I mean this is the largest church in Houston.

Well if they are closed, why wouldn't they just send that out to all members, you know a press release or something like that. The arena is open, or could be. It's just that the roads around the arena are inaccessible. They could at least open it up to support those in need.

Yea but the arena isn't flooded. It's just the streets are flooded. But the have all these buses and national guard trucks to move people to and from places. Lakewood should be helping there neighborhoods rather than turning them away. That's a huge arena and they have enough room to house at least 20,000 plus. You know the Houston community has supported this church for many years but now Lakewood is being ask to support there community.

I'm so happy to report that Joel Osteen and Lakewood Church have agreed to open there doors to flood victims. According to Headline News and CNN, they will open there doors to several hundred at around 6am this morning. I can't even tell you all how this makes me feel. Iv always believed that the church no matter how big you are. It's the duty of the church to help the community, especially in dire straits. When people and there kids need help, the church should be there to help people in need. Thank you Lakewood for finally seeing the light.

Well I don't believe my eyes and ears this morning. After making my point and saying what I thought needed to be said. I heard this morning on Headline News that Joel Osteen and Lakewood will finally open up there church to hundreds of people to take shelter in. This is great news and I'm so glad to hear this news. It really is for the best. I'm glad to see them doing what is right. They owe it to the people of Houston.
