6 volt (4AA) 49mhz new bright f150 modified after the original circuit burned up. now replaced with hitec aggressor am 75 mhz system with a titan 380 motor running on a 6 volt 4.5 amp/20hr sealed lead acid battery (deer feeder battery). kinda slow but very powerful. kicking up some dirt on a baseball field. few runs over to first base and back to home base. i would say not to bad for a little rc truck thats 25dollars at walmart with a replacement system for 100dollars ($50 for remote and electronics, $50 for the electronic speed controller.) the battery on this truck last a long time. i played with it for two hours and still strong.
