31st October 1984 , a black day in the history of India. Nobody can forget that this was the black day which gave rise to a very dark incident , The Assasination of Indira Gandhi. The assasination of Indira Gandhi had lead to many horrifying and diabolical events. Mass destructive riots. Mass Killing or should I say mass murder of sikhs on road and in their homes and a cold and shaky curfew, this is wha the movie 31st October depicts which got released today.

But by the looks of it the film lacks a proper research. It seems that Harry Sachdeva , the writer of the film elluded a thorough and a proper research on a burning issue like this. It felt like one fine day he got a fickle idea to write a film on it and thus he made a script out of it and hence the film was made.

Director Shivaji Lotan Patil gave in everything he had to bring out the best of the script but his creativity and perception got grounded due to the vague and shaky script. Vir Das did a great job in this film, Soha ali khan tried to give her best with the flat face of hers, the child artists in the film were nothing more than fillers. Rest of the cast was normal. The good thing about the film was its cinematography, the movie somewhat creates a realistic image of the riots infront of you.

So all those people who havent seen or witnessed any kind of riots in your life but keep a deep desire to watch one can go and watch the film and please do let me know what you make out of the film, by leaving a commet below.

All in all this movie gets 2 out of 5 stars from my side and do not forget to hit the like button below and subscribe for my channel for unbiased and accurate views.
