A couple of Guys in two different scenerios fall into sin. While they may see the object of their affections, we see in place of them, Barabbas from the New Testiment.

The Barabbas of the Bible, represents all the things of Earth: Lust, strife, Murder, Lies, Sin etc and all the vanities of mankind in general. When Jesus is presented next to Barabbas, the world always chooses Barabbas the Murderer. However, the Lord's people are not of the Earth. Every temptation we enter into is like having that Historical choice, yet again, presented before us: Do we want Jesus(Godliness and Life), or Barabbas(sin and Death). The Lord Jesus' Holy Spirit is our only hope to resist sin and endure Temptation and thus being made free from sin as Jesus refines us in the Fires of afliction and temptation. I need the Holy Ghost, and my hope is that Jesus(the Holy Ghost) will never let me go into sin.
