Every summer, all Intermediate and Advanced SEASSI Khmer students have to complete an Independent Study Project on the topic of their choice. In Week Eight of SEASSI, they do an oral presentation on their project. One student in 2009 translated and created a short video of the children's story "The Ugly Duckling," in Khmer.
