I hope that's a decent enough abbreviation. The name is pretty long in both Japanese and English.

Note that Link with yellow hair is a patch-in. If you don't patch Link or other custom characters then you will have the default Satellaview boy and girl mascots to choose from.

I went back to playing this and out of curiosity decided to use the debug patch on episode 1. Using this patch will give you most items, letting you get into areas you normally couldn't during earlier episodes. Since they modified ALttP as needed there are many odd glitches and leftovers. I wanted to check out some other places. But I'm not sure how to load an episode 4 save for an earlier episode. And the debug patch only gives you lift level 3. So no lifty the dark rocks.

Entering the Lost Woods and going into the hole shown (that in ALttP leads to a heart piece) will send you into the black void. Going left through about ten screens will take you to a glitched and mostly enemy free version of the level 2 waterfall dungeon with an incorrect palette and tileset. I didn't go through the whole dungeon. But it's possible. Although it crashed when I talked to a thief. Other crashes could occur. Another run glitched to from a different house had an absent Modorm and no way to escape the boss room. You could still hear him though.

Beating Moldorm will net you a tablet that has the wrong palette. It's grey instead of gold. In addition the wrong message is displayed, informing you that you've just gotten a level 3 sword. Which of course you don't really get. At least you can keep the heart container. And it looks like you can do this glitch multiple times for many heart containers. I'd like to see if beating the boss for real has any effect. After beating glitch Armos bosses and getting a grey tablet with the level 3 sword message I defeated the real bosses for a genuine gold tablet. But I can't remember where I went to get to that particular L1 glitch dungeon.

My level 2 sword is a rental though. But I don't think that affects anything. It's just a case of the message being wrong.

The music stays the same the whole time. Also, the shoulder buttons become pause buttons (or does the inventory screen just not show up?) after beating Moldorm. They right themselves once you automatically exit the dungeon.

And in case you didn't notice, entering a locked door will automatically give you 4 keys. This is probably a debug feature. If you collect a key you will get zero keys. If you open up a door the key count and icon just disappear. This also happens if you collect a key while having the four keys on you. But you get four keys back from opening another door. So I don't think it is possible to become trapped. Additionally, the dungeon map menu is disabled.

There are other empty areas that you can explore. Some lead to broken dungeons, often with the wrong palette. You can't always interact with them though. You end up under the tiles in some instances. Other areas crash the game or flash glitchy graphics before crashing. Things may be different depending on what episode you are on.
