These two boys live in Las Vegas, NV, USA. Many of us say that raising religious children, let alone teaching them Ge'ez language, in the US (and other western countries) is very hard and hence we don't even have the gut to try. But, these two boys and their parents prove us that we are wrong. It is just a matter of how much we try to raise them that way. As you can see on the video, these two boys are reading, without any difficulty, "Wudassie Mariam" of Friday in Ge'ez language. Note that these two boys are "YeKolo Temari" now, which is one of the ranks before becoming deacon in Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.

ያዕቆብና ጌዴዎን ተወልደው ያደጉት አሜሪካ ሀገር ውስጥ (ነዋሪነታቸውም እዚያው አሜሪካ፣ በኔቫዳ ክፍለ ግዛት ላስ ቬጋስ ከተማ) ነው። ምንም እንኳን ብዙዎቻችን አሜሪካ (እና ሌሎች የምዕራብ ሀገራት) ልጆችን በክርስቲያናዊ ሥርዓት (የግዕዝ ቋንቋን ማስተማር ይቅርና) ማሳደግ ከባድ ነው፣ አይቻልም የሚል አመለካከት ቢኖረንም እነዚህ ሁለት ትዳጊ ልጆች እና ወላጆቻቸው ግን ይህንን አባባላችንን ዳግም እንድንመረምረው ያደርጉናል። ዋናው ነገር ምን ያህል እንደዚያ ለናሳድገቸው ጥረት አድርገናል ነው። በቪዲዮው ላይ እንደምትመለከቱት ታዳጊዎቹ የዕለተ አርብን ወዳሴ ማር ይም በግዕዝ ያለምንም መደነቃቀፍ እያነበቡ ነው። በነገራችን ላይ ሁለቱ ተማሪዎች በ አሁኑ ወቅት የቆሎ ተማሪዎች (ወደ ድቁና የሚያሸጋግረው አንዱ የትምህርት ደረጃ) ናቸው
