Somalia, December 5 - Al-Shabaab insurgents have stormed an army base in the Horn of Africa, killing at least 12 soldiers in the Puntland region, near Mogadishu.
The attack has fuelled fears that the rebels are regrouping and have forged ties with al-Qaeda.
