Richmond Mayor Thomas Butt called a resolution on police-involved shootings the “stupidest thing I've ever read,” before voting against it in a Dec. 18 meeting where it passed. Jack Bryson, the fiancee of Kishana Harley, a murder victim and police brutality activist who wrote the resolution, was kicked out of the contentious meeting moments after Butt voted.
