We've talked brand personality before here on Savvy Sexy Social, so to touch on that a little bit further I wanted to share a quick tip for how you can make your social accounts more personal right away.

People don't network with brands. They network with other people. So when they're chatting on Twitter with you logo, you're not connecting as well as you could be with them without a little glimpse of the person on the other side of the computer.

More on how to fix this in today's Sexy Wednesday:

Change your avatar to reflect the person that's running the account. You might have to alter or remove your logo, but there are so many other places to put it! The cover photo. The background. Save the avatar for a smiling face that shows up whenever the account is joining a conversation! Make it much more fun to respond and helps make an instant connection.

If you're not into changing your social branding a bit, don't worry. There's a work around. Be sure to change the bio or tweets to reflect a signature from the person who's updating the account. Even these little things can make it easier for your followers to get personal and hang out with you on their social networks.

What do you do to keep it personal with your community?
