In the summer of 1997, Greg Leskiw (The Guess Who) came up with his latest endeavor Swing Soniq, an exciting acoustic trio dedicated to the feel and style of the 30's and 40's. As well as performing songs of that era (Moonglow, After You've Gone and Beyond the Sea, to name a few), Swing Soniq has developed innovative arrangements of their original compositions. "Moonglow", also known as "Moonglow and Love" was written in 1933 by Will Hudson,Irving Mills and Eddie DeLange. "Moonglow" was first recorded by Joe Venuti and his Orchestra in 1933, with later recordings by Ethel Waters and Benny Goodman and his Orchestra in 1934, and has since become a jazz standard. Along with this are some beautiful images of stunning 50's bombshell, Kim Novak. She has achieved iconic status in her role in one of Alfred Hitchcock's finest films, Vertigo.
