Dr. Chen Xiaodong presents the process behind his invention of an ultrafast charging battery, discussing the inspiration he got from everyday experiences.

Dr. Chen Xiaodong is an Associate Professor at the Nanyang Technological University, in the school of Material Science and Engineering. Having published over 40 papers in prestigious refereed journals, he received his PhD in biochemistry from the University of Muenster in Germany and is currently conducting research in several areas, including nanobioelectronics and bioinspired assembly.
