This week Intel was awarded a patent for a processor that hopes to make Bitcoin mining more efficient. Cryptocurrency mining is not as popular these days and the cost of electricity is one big concern for miners. So can Intel’s energy-efficient processor help the crypto mining economy?

Now let’s take a look at Bitcoin’s performance this week. Today we saw Bitcoin experience losses of more than 8%.  It currently remains around $4,000. This day last year Bitcoin was already over $9,900.
