AMERICAN tries FAMOUS BURAK Turkish Food in Istanbul

While in Istanbul for our short stay, we were lucky enough to find this fantastic local restaurant called Hatay Medeniyetler Sofrası. Right when you enter, they bring over a large tray of the most colorful and delicious vegetarian local dishes, such as hummus and olive salads. Once you choose your dishes, then they bring you enough hot and fresh bread to eat along with your dishes. The Turkish coffee was incredibly delicious and powerful, served in a cup that resembled a Faberge egg. The total for two people came to 131 Lira, $20 USD -- and for that we were full to the brim.

The next morning we caught the local transport from downtown Istanbul Taksim area to Ataturk Airport, by taking the local bus and metro combination. It was a great way to mix with the locals.

Our next stop was Amsterdam. We made it, left with all the amazing memories of the magical streets of Isyanbul.

Thank you for watching. Please comment.
