On Sunday March 10th, trumpeter Mitch Matthew of Fermata-Music.com came into the Ohio Statehouse rotunda to check out the acoustics for another event he was to perform at. The Eyes of Freedom team was honored that Mitch also performed "Taps" while standing in front of the portrait of Chris Dixon, Travis Youngblood and Wesley Davids, as Army veteran Steve Osborne stood nearby saluting. Steve was friends with Wesley Davids and played trumpet with him while they were in their high school band. This brought an even stronger meaning to this incredible moment. A faint reference track of the original audio can be slightly heard in the background.
