The 2018 midterm elections have resulted in a Democrat-controlled House, a Republican Senate and a record number of women (121) elected to Congress. This midterm had the highest turnout since 1966, and across the country, a record number of voters decided the fate of pro-life candidates, minimum-wage and voting-rights measures, among other issues of interest to U.S. Catholics.

Kristen Day, executive director of Democrats for Life of America, joins America’s National Correspondent Michael O’Loughlin to discuss the implications of Tuesday night’s results as we look ahead to the 2020 presidential campaign.
