Anti-government protests in Ethiopia widen its scope beyond the usual Oromo and Amhara regions. The rare protest in Welkite, Gurage Zone shows that the repressive Ethiopian regime have no ally left in the country. Protesters in Welkite also clearly sent a message by denouncing the recent killing of unarmed youth in Woldia and chanting "Oromo, Amhara, Gurage... we are all one".
