P Chidambaram's visit to Japan

Addressing a news conference during a visit to Tokyo promoting India as investment destination, Finance minister P Chidambaram said that Indian economy is capable of absorbing 50 billion dollars in FDI per year. Finance minister also reiterated that growth in Asia's third-largest economy was expected to accelerate in the current fiscal year but inflation and fiscal deficit remains core concern.
