Bulger, 89, was killed a day after being transferred to USP Hazelton, where a 48-year-old inmate was killed in April and a 27-year-old was killed in September. A staff member was also physically assaulted by an inmate inside a cell in August. Hazelton has been suffering from major staffing cuts for more than a decade. The problem has become so dire in recent years that West Virginia Sen Joe Manchin has also called on Jeff Sessions - but said he has 'done nothing'.
