A teaser trailer for Pipe Dreams, a short film commissioned by the Barbican to mark the passing of the Crossrail Tunnel Boring Machines beneath the Barbican Estate. The film will be released and free to view from Wednesday 8 April. Granted unique access as the final stretch of the Crossrail project’s tunnelling takes place between Liverpool Street and Farringdon, the film captures the magic of the tunnels in their present state, revealing the underground landscape and contemplating what is being created underneath our feet. Music by LoneLady, filmed by Bevis Bowden, animation by Daniela Sherer, production and direction by Sidd Khajuria.
