Wareham Police: Don't toss your dog off the bridge

Police in Wareham, Massachusetts, are asking for what seems like it should be an unnecessary request: don't toss your dog off a bridge. 

Video footage recorded a dog being thrown off a bridge in Wareham over the weekend. 

"Dogs are not supposed to be tossed off of a bridge and no they don’t 'like it,'” the Wareham Department of Natural Resources said in a statement. 

The department said the dog is physically unharmed, the owner has been identified and the issue will be pursued.
