MPs claim Mt. Kenya has been neglected despite voting for Jubilee

Mt. Kenya MPs say they are thoroughly dissatisfied with the performance of cabinet secretaries from the region whom they blame for what they call the president’s dismal development record in Mt Kenya. According to the MPs who had retreated to Naivasha for a two – day retreat, the Cabinet Secretaries are not coming. The MPs have demanded that the Jubilee government focuses on developing regions that overwhelmingly voted for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s second term in office.
