The Allies fight back and ultimately withdraw due to German air power. The Nazis continue into Belgium and Holland and then break through the Maginot Line. The Allies retreat at Dunkirk, the Nazis march into Paris. The Free French move into North Africa. The film ends with the hope that General de Gaulle will, with the help of the Allies, free France.
