Who is the "Natural" man in 1Corinthians 2:14?

In dealing with the arminian/moderate calvinist on 1Cor. 2:14, I have heard some strange things all in an attempt to preserve their "freewill" stance. Any theologian worth his salt, would say, the natural man, is the unsaved man. Here is an exegesis of the text.
