[[Actually uploaded on Jan. 29; SLIGHTLY different earlier version in "Unlisteds" playlist.]] Was just thinking about this song, and how good a tribute it'd be coming from a Pegasus pony...and the movie/book Beaches, and what great parallels one could draw among CC, Hillary, Dash, & Flutters (as well as Idgie & Ruth from Fried Green Tomaters! Damn, why do all these stories have to be so sad?!)...so ultimately I thought, "I've gotta apply that." And I felt I should try my hoof at doing my own version, with the original Bette Midler version of the song; there is another vid also using another rendition of the song for these two, but this one takes strictly the friendship approach. (Although, if you do happen to ship Flutterdash/Rainbowshy, I'm sure you could enjoy it from that angle as well.) So this'd probably come from Dash's perspective when she's a little bit older. Only, y'know, try to imagine that roughly the last 1/3 of 'Beaches' doesn't happen in their version...unless you *want* to sob for the rest of your life...then, be my guest, I suppose. Seemed like another good dedication to Flutters--from almost anypony, kinda...especially on the "If you're mad, get mad" line, which brings to mind Flutterage and Flutterhulk, lol; b) "F*kin' Perfect" (P!nk) Funnily enough, Bette also voiced/sang for Georgette in Oliver & Company, and basically, Rarity-generosity=Georgette.
