Vlog 20, Day 6 Korea, Hongik University, Gwangmyung, Cheongdamdong Areas

Actually it's me just wandering around Seoul most of the time, but this was the only thing I could think of that would set this vlog apart from the other vlogs.

I start from Hongik University Station and Head to Nambu Bus terminal Station in Gangnam, Cheongdamdong. After meeting up with some good old church friends I try some pear frappachino and head back to Hongik University Station back to my aunt's apartment.

On the way however I come across Sarang Church which I understand to be the biggest church in the world. The campus was huge! My uncle drives me to the airport to pickup Mayu and we come across some beautiful bridges on the way to Inchon.

Mayu is hungry so we drop by for some Gamjatang. Tang means stew in Korean and all this time I thought the Gamja meant potatoes, but my uncle tells me it actually means bone marrow! That would explain why it's always made with bone marrow! He tells me however that this name was so misleading and the customers would always complain why there isn't any potatoes so modern Gamja Tang always includes potatoes.

Another interesting fact is that this particular dish along with another Chicken dish are the two most popular dishes for Japanese tourists. Mayu agrees!

Where we ate was near Cheolsan station located near my other aunt's apartment. Seems like there were plenty of bars and restaurants open all night so feel free to check it out if you're ever in Korea and wondering what other more local feeling alternatives there are to Hongdae, Itaewon, or Gangnam.

I also included a mini vlog about when I was shopping in the outlets near Gasan Digital Complex station. My favorite place to shop in Seoul Korea.

The first part of my vlog was shot using the Sony A7Sii and the later mini vlog was shot with an iPhone 7. Let me know what you think of the new camera. It's my first time using a dslr to vlog and I can say watching literally hours of tutorials to get the custom settings and tweaking it to my liking has helped alot but doesn't beat the convenience of an iphone 7 and the camera shake compared to me freehanding an iphone 7 might be noticeable. Also didn't keep a constant shutter speed to adjust for light... newbie mistake.
