This is a fun blues song I composed for my Mainland chili plastic ukulele in April 2012. I found this ukulele in the closet when doing some spring cleaning so I wrote a blues song on it. I had bought it in 2011 after viewing Captain Lovehandle's video review. I always buy lots of chillies as condiments for my quesadillas and black bean tacos and there is one farmer's stand in the Ottawa Byward market where the woman calls those yellow chillies "911" in French. I picked up her expression and I've started to use it. When I go to her stand in the late fall, I ask where are the "911 Chillies?" hehe The reason I wrote a blues song is that I had bought a "Blues Method Pamphlet" from Manitoba Hal, a Canadian ukulele blues player so I got some ideas from his booklet.
