State grants $3M to fight red tide on east coast

Counties along the east coast of Florida will receive a grant to help mitigate the effects of red tide. On Thursday, Governor Scott announced that the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is offering $3 million in grants to St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade.
