The first in a series of videos covering the removal, strip down, inspection, rebuild & adjustments on a rear/front axle differential unit. Sam gives me a hand in this, the first Episode, where we remove the cartridge type 'Diff' from the axle housing & strip it down to it's basic components. The knowledge needed to rebuild & 'setup' a diff is quickly becoming lost, with many car manufacturers now stipulating that the unit is no longer serviceable and must be replaced as a complete unit rather than stripped and rebuilt. It's great to have Sam back n the workshop too, adding a whole new dynamic to the job.... Andy Mechanic
