Funny Fashion in the 1960's
New York, U.S.A.:  A journalist asks the makers about their new heating device.  In the second film, various 'electric dresses' are shown off (also apparently New York) - quite wacky.
A journalist, wearing thick glasses, prepares to interview two distinguished looking men, Dr Hess and Dr Walton with a microphone. On the table beside them are two crates of plants; the journalist speaks to them out of hearing before beginning the interview proper.  Dr Hess talks about the speeding up of the growth of agricultural crops.  - pointing to the plants.  The more developed ones have been exposed to greater heat, unaheat, which means crops can be produced faster.  Close up of the journalist's face, now without glasses, probably to intercut as a response shot with the interviewee.  The three men again, the journalist enquiring about a square of wallpaper on the table - the journalist asks Dr Walton if that too concerns unaheat and Walton says yes, this will radiate heat and be better than a normal radiator which heats by convection.
Studio or workshop desk with fashion drawings, a fashionable young woman solders metal.  Her face. She solders wires to what look like batteries.  Her face, concentrating.  She tests two small electric signs for "Stop" and "Go".  These seen in the dark.  She tries on a short black dress with a Star of David on it.  She switches off the light.  The Star of David light flashes on and off then we pull back to see her modelling the dress in the dark.  her hand adjusts a battery on the belt of another outfit.  The woman models this dress in her studio.  When she turns it on lines of light switch on and off around the dress.  She wears another outfit - trousers with illuminating bands - these look patently absurd, especially as she grooves in them.  Another woman wears boots and a short dress similar to or the same as the penultimate one with flashing lines.
