The rare footage of Houghton Feast 1954 features views of the choir singing from the top of St Michael & All Angels' Church tower, and all the fun of the Lake Fairground with Murphy's Waltzer, Cooper's Big Mickey, and Powell's or Culine's Rodeo.

We also get a glimpse of the early Feast illuminations, including the (then controversial) animated Guinness Festival Clock.
