Meghan attends festive singalong at care home

(18 Dec 2018) Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, met with retirees on Tuesday at the Royal Variety Charity's residential nursing and care home in Twickenham, south-west London. The home provides care for those who have worked in entertainment and the arts industries. During her visit, the duchess talked to residents and helped make Christmas decorations. The visit comes following a recent interview given by Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, in which he said he'd been "ghosted" by his daughter since her wedding to Prince Harry in May. Markle suggested the royal couple had been influenced by negative media reports about him and appealed for the queen to heal the rift.
