Duralast clutch explodes! 1 year in a 2002 Saturn SL2

This is the "upgraded" Duralast clutch we put in my son-in-law's 2002 Saturn SL2 exactly a year ago on Halloween. As you can see, it didn't hold up well, although his driving skills are of course in question too. After some finagling, the local Autozone manager agreed to warranty it and refunded his money. We are trying a NAPA (also Luc brand) upgraded clutch this time. Hoping the disc material is tougher, or the son-in-law's driving skills improve rapidly. We did end up resurfacing the flywheel (again) to validate the 1 year warranty from NAPA.
