Man Tracked Kids to Adoptive Parents in Grantsville

It's hard to imagine the terror a Grantsville family felt over the weekend when a California man showed up at their home with a gun. Police say Tyler Nuckolls had tracked down the couple who adopted his three children. Court papers say he went to their home with the intention of taking the children back -- even though he has no parental rights and is not supposed to have any contact with the kids. A violent confrontation followed. Investigators say Nuckolls stole the family's car... But the adoptive parents put up a fight. They were able to get the children out before Nuckolls sped away in their car.
