On Saturday July 28 the last fully restored and operational Victory Ship, the S.S. Lane Victory left San Pedro on a day-long cruise to Catalina Island, which featured 30's and 40's music from the Swing Cats Big Band. During the cruise the ship's gunners ward off a Luftwaffe air attack!
