My Artworks are all for sale by request,inquires welcome. All my acrylic paints are mixed with a pouring medium in advance contained in squeeze bottles. I begin with a mat black pre primed a 18" x 24 " canvas.I make up a shallow container of colors using pre mixed bottle of paint (all have Gac 800 pouring medium in them ) so when I scoop and shovel out the contents to add onto my canvas ,the paint will not crack.I "ribbon pour and flow stripes of color from a small plastic shovel and plastic scoop I used to pick up the colors .As I go along I add more colors to the dish as I decide variations are needed in the emerging patterns.I happily decorate the canvas with twisting turning brightly colored designs until I feel it is complete. THERE IS NO SILICONE in this artwork's paint mix.I use ZERO silicon in the pre mixed colors stored in squeeze bottles with no other cell creating additive is included. Floetrol and Gac 800 (By Golden)are what I use as pouring mediums. My paint mix or "recipe" is as follows. Add color 90% acrylic color to 10% "Golden's" Gac 800 .Mix thoroughly (GAC 800 prevents cracking) .Add Floetrol( by "Flood") , until the mixture is double (or more ) mix thoroughly. That's the whole recipe .To create shimmering colors, I add also"Golden's" Iridescent pearl medium to colors.As much as looks right . Every day I learn something new.
