http://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/service/t/down-syndrome/default/ Gabe Lawrence is a healthy 2-year-old. But he was born with a hole in his heart. Gabe, who also has Down syndrome, spent the first three-and-a-half months of his life at Cincinnati Children's. Specialists here repaired his heart and gave him a chance for a better life. As MVP of the University of Cincinnati vs. Akron football game on Sept. 17, everyone was cheering Gabe on.
