The Bank of Japan made significant changes to its policy, leaving the current means unchanged but focusing on a steeper yield curve. It also allowed more flexibility. Stocks like it and so does USD/JPY. Fears of a hard Brexit weigh on the pound, the euro is still looking for a direction and commodity currencies are "each to its own." The big event later today is the FED decision. No rate hike is expected, but they are projected to leave the door open to hikes further along the road. The US dollar strength seen lately could continue.
