Hans van Balen is the leader of the Dutch VVD fraction in the European parliament. During the 2009 European elections, the VVD has managed to limit its loss to only one seat, and will remain represented in the European parliament with three seats.

Talking to EUX.TV, Van Balen comments on what the EU now should expect of Dutch MEPs, including the four that won seats with Geert Wilders' PVV Freedom party.
