In 2017, Megastar Chiranjeevi became the talk of the town for all the right reasons when his comeback film Khaidi No 150 opened to a thunderous response at the ticket window and left the fans asking for more. In the action-drama, he was paired opposite the lovely Kajal Aggarwal. And, as expected, he delivered a rocking performance. Now, here is some awesome news for all you Chiranjeevi fans out there. In an exciting development, the teaser of his eagerly awaited film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has been released and it's terrific. 

In it, the Megastar can be seen in a grand and royal avatar that he carries off quite well. The teaser suggests that Sye Raa Narasimha is going to be a grand period drama and it might help Chiru showcase his abilities as an actor to the fullest.

With just a day left for the massive birthday celebrations of the King of Telugu cinema, the makers of magnum opus have unveiled the teaser of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy to enthrall the fans of Megastar Chiranjeevi. The much-anticipated flick, which rides on a massive budget of 150+ crores, is seen as the biggest celluloid painting in the T-town compound after the Baahubali series. However, Sye Raa runs with its own merits and demerits for certain reasons, which will be discussed about in the following section.


Chiru's Stardom This needs no introduction, as Chiranjeevi was the undisputed emperor of Tollywood during his hey days. Despite hanging his boots to achieve his political aspirations, fans of Telugu cinema had etched their star's name on their minds and hearts, which was later proved during the release of his comeback engine, Khaidi No 150. A hit talk for Sye Raa post its release could do wonders at the box office. Big Budget Any movie in the said genre would call for lavish production values and Konidela productions seems to be leaving no stone unturned to attain the same. Producer and son, Ram Charan is taking extra efforts in rendering a landmark film to his legendary father. Touted to be made on a huge budget of 150 Crore, Sye Raa is on par with Baahubali-1 in terms of the budget. Ensemble Star Cast This is not just colossal but also a great strategical movie. Sye Raa, being a trilingual movie, has stars on-board from multiple languages. Though Chiranjeevi is the care of address for Telugu cinema, his pull in Tamil Nadu, North India & Kerala circuits is very minimal, which could require some boost. Bollywood Shahenshah, Amitabh Bachchan, Kannada's Style Icon Kichcha Sudeep, and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi from the Tamil entity would be joining the force of the on-screen freedom fighter to make it massive for Sye Raa.

Chiranjeevi would be complimented by Dashing Nayantara and Milky beauty Tamannah on-screen. Based On A Real-life Character Based on the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the first freedom fighter from the Telugu land, the movie has already generated hype, curiosity and interest amongst the viewers and fans. It is always a treat to watch real-life happenings being translated on the silver screen and what better than a subject like this? What Could Pose As A Threat To The Flick The Baahubali Comparison Sye Raa would not be the first of its kind in the T-town, as the movie would be seen following the footsteps of Rajamouli's Baahubali series in terms of the genre. Apparently, audience would be left comparing both products consciously or otherwise, due to its supposed similarities. The talk would initiate soon after the launch of Sye Raa's trailer, which could chalk down some amount of fate of the movie. A good output can generate hype all by itself and a mediocre cut could dent the prospects of the movie by a certain amount of extent.

The Director & Music Director A movie like Sye Raa would require exceptionally skilled craftsmen on board. The captain of the ship, music director, cinematographer, art director and the editor play vital roles. Though Surender Reddy, the director of the movie, is a well-known name in the industry, it doesn't quite assure the confidence of churning out a product like Sye Raa, due to his inexperience in this domain. A stylish filmmaker who has made commercial entertainers has ventured into this category for the very first time. National award-winning music director, Amit Trivedi is the music director of Sye Raa who adds a boost to the technical team. However, south cinema runs on both emotions and heroism, where the technician who renders music should balance both scales equally. Amit hasn't had such ambiguous experience in his recent past and is seeming to have a daunting challenge with Sye Raa.
