The Curse of Boarhills

This video details our walk around Boarhills and the surrounding countryside. Despite Boarhills not being especially big, there's a lot to see here. We take a look at the church, which has always struck me as being somewhat bleak due to it's location, as well as Buddo Rock, a large, natural rock formation you can find on the beach to the north of the village. It's also known as the Kissing Rock but all references to Hulk Hogan are fabricated for the purposes of amusement. There are two abandoned mills in the woods to the east of Boarhills which we had a look around. We attempted to look for the remains of Pitmilly House but the farmer was working the field so we couldn't get in for a proper look. Maybe next time. Finally, we looked at the Kenly Viaduct, which lies just beyond the former Boarhills Station, which is now a private property. The strangest aspect of this video is that I've spliced in footage from the game I created, entitled The Curse Of Boarhills. The game was made in 2012 and follows the adventures of Euan (who has yet to appear in a video), Andrew and myself as we discover that Boarhills has been inflicted with a curse that has caused everyone in the village to become wild boars. It's up to us to save the village and restore normality. Wacky antics ensue. Although the story of the game is relatively simple, there are a lot of in-jokes, reflecting current events like the Yewtree investigations as well as things we found funny at the time, like Holy Diver (the music has now been replaced in a deliberately obtuse manner to allow the video to play on mobile devices and in any country). If there's any demand for more of the game to be shown (what you see in this video doesn't really make sense due to it being out of context) then I may record a play-through of the whole thing. It's normally takes me about an hour and a half to beat it.
