Excited to try a new species! Betta burdigala, picked up at the California Betta Society auction this last weekend. I really couldn't resist when I saw this pair building a bubblenest DURING the show. They were bred by Hermanus Haryanto and I just can't wait to get them going :) Already eating grindals and both are very friendly. Male likes to flare and hang out in the front of the tank. Unfortunately he is a bit aggressive towards the female, so I am trying to give her more hiding spots.
