Accident with wrong way driver I80 West bound 18 August 2016

A driver in what was reported to be a Nissan was driving the wrong direction (East bound) in the West bound lane of Interstate 80 approximately 32 miles West of the Davenport Iowa 280 interchange. This is approximately halfway between Iowa City Iowa and Davenport Iowa. The two ladies in the white car were hurt and required medical attention. Their injuries did not appear to be life threatening. The white car appeared to be heavily damage. A later converstation with the Iowa State troopers revealed the driver to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol. The driver was subsequently captured and placed under arrest and incarcerated. The semi driver was uninjured. The other previous accident I have no information on the status of the drivers nor any injuries.
