Denis McDonough may be the White House Chief of Staff, but to Oak Park Elementary students William and Mary McDonough he's simply Uncle Dude. McDonough, who graduated from Stillwater Area High School in 1988, stopped by Oak Park today to watch his niece's play and visit his nephew's classroom. It's not often (if ever) that such a high profile visitor has stepped through the doors along with secret service agents, but Mrs. Hamernick's class took it all in stride. They asked McDonough what it was like working for President Obama and how he got the job. McDonough talked about growing up in Stillwater schools and offered them some words of wisdom.
