Youth and beauty captivate an aging artist and help rekindle his creative spirit. But in the hallways of inspiration there are doorways into dark rooms inhabited by ghosts, paranoia, and anonymous fears that have always haunted the minds of men. Still Life was imagined to me a much longer story following the aging artist, and the apparitions that haunt his art and inspiration. What is presented here is the incomplete first scene that would have set up the artists first contact with the mysterious beings that reviel themseleves to him only through his art.
