psyleidoscope Published on Sep 16, 2017 Here we examine the PBS Discovery Science Genius Episode 6 where three actors visit a lake in Nevada to perform 2 tests to measure the curvature of the Earth. In the second test, the actors used a telescope to film 6 miles across the lake to the opposite shore where the other two actors were in a helicopter descending in altitude. Thru the telescope we see the helicopter "disappear" behind what looks like a horizon of water. We are later told that this was the curvature of the earth, and the helicopter was not visible on the horizon until it reached 24 ft. above the water surface. Here I take 2 still images from the PBS episode. in them we can see what looks like the same 3 birds flying thru the images. When I bring the images into pages, i can overlay the 2 images and using opacity, we can clearly see that it is indeed the SAME 3 birds in BOTH images, only problem: the helicopter is visible in one, and NOT the other.........OOPS. The PBS editing crew is guilty of manipulation of this video, in a clear attempt to portray the curvature of earth, but here they are pushing fraudulent video evidence. I have duplicated this experiment, and my video evidence proves that it would be nearly impossible to hide a 24 foot object or even a 10 foot tall helicopter over a 6 mile stretch of water. This is pure pseudoscience. But one has to ask WHY are they faking this test? If the curvature is so easy to measure (as they portray here) then WHY do they need to fake it?
