Got to witness an incredible night feeding of a clan of spotted hyenas and a pride of lions during a 2-week volunteer program at Lion & Safari Park in South Africa! I'd seen this insane free-for-all on nature shows before but to see it in person from just a few feet away was quite the experience!

Hyenas are one of only a few species of animals that can actually chew through bone, that's the crunching noise :O By comparison the lion feeding was extremely tame!
